Get Your Esthetician License

If you're drawn to skincare, wellness, and helping people feel confident in their own skin, a career as a licensed esthetician could be the right move.

It's one of the fastest-growing segments of the beauty industry — and one of the most flexible, with opportunities in day spas, medical spas, dermatology offices, hotels, salons, and independent practice.

At Beyond 21st Century Beauty Academy, our esthetician school is located in Santa Fe Springs, CA — just off the 5 and 605 freeways, convenient to Downey, Norwalk, Whittier, Pico Rivera, La Mirada, and surrounding communities.
→ All locations we serve

We offer daytime, evening, and part-time tracks so you can pursue your license without putting the rest of your life on hold.

What You'll Learn

Our 600-hour esthetician program is approved by the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology and covers the full scope of the California esthetician license:

Facials & Skin Analysis You'll learn how to analyze skin types and conditions, perform professional cleansing and extraction, and recommend appropriate products and home care routines. This is the foundation of every esthetician's practice.

Waxing From brows and lips to body waxing, you'll develop speed and precision in hair removal — one of the most in-demand services in any spa or salon.

Chemical Exfoliation You'll work with chemical peels and enzyme treatments, learning how to select the right formulations for different skin types and conditions. Understanding contraindications and safety protocols is emphasized throughout.

Advanced Services The curriculum includes brow lamination, lash lifts, lash tinting, and more— services that command premium pricing and are increasingly expected by clients seeking a full-service esthetician.

Sanitation & Safety
California's Board exam puts heavy weight on sanitation and safety procedures. We prepare you thoroughly so this section of the test is a strength, not a stressor.

Business Skills You'll learn how to build a clientele from scratch, how to present retail recommendations professionally, and how to set yourself up for success whether you're working in a spa, renting a suite, or going independent.
