Beyond 21st Century Beauty Academy has served the La Mirada communitysince 1997 and offers three California State Board-approved programs for aspiring beauty professionals.

‍Cosmetology School — 1,000 hours Hair, skin, and nail services under one license. The broadest credential in California beauty. Day full and part-time schedules. Total cost: $17,560. Financial aid available to those who qualify.

‍Esthetician School — 600 hours Skincare, facials, waxing, chemical peels, brow lamination, and lash services.As an official Dermalogica partner school, Beyond includes a Dermalogica kit at enrollment and offers field trips to Dermalogica's headquarters — a genuine industry connection. Day and evening options. Total cost: $11,206.50.

‍Nail Tech School — 400 hours California's manicurist license in approximately 5 months, with the official Aprés Gel-X Certification included. Evening classes available. Total cost: $5,595.

Our campus is located at 13640 Imperial Highway, just off the 5 and 605 freeways, making the commute from La Mirada a straightforward 10-minute drive.

Financial Aid for La Mirada Students

Our cosmetology and esthetician programs qualify for Title IV federal financialaid, including Pell Grants. Our FAFSA school code is 041482. Many Pico Rivera students qualify for federal financial aid through the FAFSA, including Pell Grants that do not need to be repaid.
